Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzales-Collins, who is she is a Mexican American journalist. She is an ESPN news anchor and hosts SportsNation occasionally. The first time she worked for ESPN in the year 2016. Her mother is the journalist on television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta has been bi-lingual since her age of nine. Her abilities were crucial in helping her land her first post as a an assistant to the production team at Univision Miami in which she assisted the production of programs including Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. After this it was announced that the CBS station in St. Petersburg employed her as a sport reporter. The journalist was employed at KNVO TV 48 Univision in Rio Grande Valley Texas. Covering stories relating to illegal immigration as well as drug trafficking on the Texas as well as the Mexico frontier, she was employed as a journalist on Fox2 News, which is a Spanish channel KNVO TV48 Univision and Fox2 News. Also, she was a substitute for weather and sports anchors. Then she anchor and wrote for Univision's Dallas affiliate Deportes 23 where she was granted more responsibilities. The anchor also worked in a similar position for the channel's magazine program Primer Impacto and for UniMas Network's Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta Collins' family was born in Veracruz Mexico. The family moved into Mexico City, where Antonietta Collins was born in November of 1985. She's older than her sister. The family moved into Miami in 1992 after leaving Mexico. They divorced soon following and in the year 1995, she got married to an naval designer by the name of Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo was diagnosed with kidney cancer. She resided at Canton Ohio with her older sister throughout the summer when she was approached for the opportunity of a job. Antonietta was a senior high school student, but she was certain of her professional goals. She visited Mount Union University to find out if the school was suitable for her. The result was that she was a fan of the university and they offered the course she wanted. She completed her schooling and was accepted into the University as a major in media studies. Her professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM, and was member of her class, established a long-lasting relationship with her. Professor Mark Bergmann influenced her with his enthusiasm about journalism. Also, he deeply affected her.
